Hello everyone, hope you are doing well. I was just wondering did anyone see 3 bright orange lights moving in the sky this evening?

They were like in a triangular shape with one slightly ahead of the other two, after a few seconds they just disappeared. Hope someone else saw them, and im not loosing my mind. There was a neighbour just outside and i showed them to him, but he seemed rather tired, and he just went home.

Anyone seen anything similar today or in the past?

Hi Crystalblue

I didn't see them but I'm in the west of Ireland!

No chance they were Chinese Lanterns?  But they aren't triangle shaped.  Very intruging, I hope someone else saw them.

thats what I thought

It sounds like three chinese lanterns floating by. If three were let go at the same time they can catch the same air current and look a bit bizarre and in a formation if they are quite far off. Ive been perplexed by them in the past until I realised that that was what they were.

Where are you Crystalblue?

Hi Seabee,

Hi Seabee, thanks for responding back to my post. Actually I have never seen the chineese lanterns, so I cant make a comparison to that.

But I have seen some links on you tube, I typed into the youtube search bar'' what do chineese lantern lights look like from afar?'' and I got some very similar video responses, and i will post the ones similar to what i saw on here, as there are very many links!

Im definitely keeping an open mind from now on! Love and blessings, Crystalblue.

Hi Cornovii Queen,

Well I have not seen the chineese lanterns so I can't make a comparison to that. This is also my first time seeing the lights, so i can't compare it to something else.

But these kind of looked like a bright star that is quite close, and they were moving steadily along sort of like an aeroplane does, it just doesn't shoot off. Also yesterday there wasn't a breeze where I was, it just felt really cold. Im In Forest Hill in South London, and on youtube, there is a similar recording of a sighting, but i think this was a few years ago. Im going to post some links that are similar to what i saw, hope that helps paint a closer picture to the description. Love and blessings, Crystalblue.

Some links for comparison

This is one of the links that is similar to what i saw.

The comments on this video are quite intresting, and seems like many people in the area have seen something similar.

This  link is a lot closer to the colour of what I saw, and then also just disappears, in exactly the same way as the one that i saw! Hope this paints a clearer picture.

Hi Crystalblue

I'm inclined to think the second link is a chinese lantern.  They do look like a large orange star that floats along even if it isn't windy, the light is constant not much flickering going on.  Then when the candle goes out the light vanishes.

The first link is a bit odd, don't know what's going on there!

Hi Seabee, thanks for your

Hi Seabee, thanks for your input. To be honest the videoes here don't really paint a very good picture, I was hoping id find one close in description but didn't quite manage to find one. These are similar in movement.

These lights were quite bright, i can compare it to traffic lights seen from a distance say 2 miles away, and it seemed like one of them was pointed at something. I hope i can see it again someday, and hopefully i will have a camera ready to record it, as it just happened too fast.

Yesterday I had this crazy dream, something similar to this, but this time it was a large round object with green light surrounded by white small lights, and i could hear high pitched sounds, but didn't see anything else, I was just focused on the object. Then suddenly i woke up. I don't remember having such dreams in the past and was woundering if the two are connected. Hope its not just my imagination running wild! Love and blessings, Crystalblue.

Seems to be a lot of activity! I have seen a few postings on facebook regarding strange lights. Not too sure about this clip but you never know I guess.

lights in the sky

Oh my gosh the exact same thing happend to me on new years eve thes fire works had stopped and i just happend to look out of the window to see a light it was bright green and i was well i could not believe what i was seeing as never really been into the u.f.o thing magic is what i do but the light was strange i too thought it was a chinese lantern so i called me son and he said no they are usually orange and this light was too high up and it just stayed in the one place for about 15 mins i timed it then i swear it just flew off in a zig zag fashion first then zap gone but i no not what it was and to be honest i think they (you no the not from here people)have been here for hundreds of years anyway so why should we not see them i just wish some one would tell us the truth and admit they are here.

Hi Reikidebs, I was amazed

Hi Reikidebs, I was amazed too how many postings there are, though some are made up. In one of the videos, there were many people in my area who have seen similar things before. The thing is the cameras don't capture a good enough description to what the eye actually sees, and because they are not something we usually see, its hard to describe them. But I will try and look out and  hope I get to see something similar again then I can describe it in more detail. I have heard that when you intentionally look for them, you never get to see them. I will wait and see what happens.

Wow Lygra, you saw yours for a while then. I think I might have seen them before, but because I used to be scared of them, after watching the  programm Taken I didn't pay much attention to it. In my previous flat, i had such a clear view of the sky, and had no obstructions at all for a very long distance, and I remember seeing different coloured lights in the sky, but I always put it down to either helicopters or aeroplanes and didn't think much of them. Wouldn't that be nice if they could tell us about them. I suppose the need hasn't arisen for them to tell us as of yet, but once they have enough evidence, then they can tell us. Love and blessings, Crystalblue.
