Feeling better already!  I've done some washing up and some ironing, and been for a drive (only about 3 scary moments pmsl!  Neil was yelling "Stop!!") having a little rest before I finish the ironing and then we're having baked fish, salad and mash for tea.

So sorry to hear your ME is playing up. I know how it goes - you think you have more or less cracked it and learned how to live with it and it can just reappear and knock you back. The GP is sending me for an MRI, but seems hopeful that nothing too bad is going on down there, fingers crossed!!

 just wanted to pick your brain if i may! When i was in my late teens i became ill with glandular fever and after several months without getting better the doctor sent me to see a specialist who diagnosed me with M E.  I had various symtoms like extreme tiredness, muscle & joint pain ect, and was ill for almost 6 years.  I did seem however to recover, i did still get the joint pain and the tiredness,although not as bad.  What id like to ask is do you know or have you heard if the severe symtoms can reoccur?  I have felt quite unwell for a while now and am concered it might be happening again.  Iam just so tired, when ive done the housework or even going on a car journey totaly wipes me out. Just wanted your opinion on the situation. Also iam sending you healing vibes & hope you feel much better soon!

It sounds like you made a good but not complete and utter recovery (ie you still got some symptoms, just more mildly).  Obviously you might want to check with your doctor about this, but I think this means it could get more severe again under the right (or should that be wrong?!) circumstances.  I find I'm mostly OK, just get a bit tired or whatever, but if I overdo it or get drunk or something, the symptoms are worse.  I'd suggest talking to your doctor anyway, just to make sure it isn't anything else (I found once I had ME I assumed it was responsible for ANYTHING wrong with me), but if the symptoms seem very familiar, explain that you think it may have come back.  I found my Herbalist the greatest help in managing my symptoms with an energy-boosting remedy, so it can help to look at alternative treatments alongside any advice your doc can give.

I was tired last night as the S&D meeting was quite a long day!  But I don't know if it was the excitement of that, or me worrying about some work I had to do today, but I couldn't sleep for ages!!!!  Grrr!!!  So was shattered this morning!  But come round again now and hoping to be reasonably perky for the rest of the week.  Will have to be as have lots planned!!  Going to Pat's tomorrow, meeting 3 S&D girls on Sat for the Healing Fair, going to the seaside for the day with my pal on Thursday etc etc!!  It's a hard life being a lady of mostly leisure lol!!

I hope you are feeling better, the S&D meeting was great. When I dropped you at the bus stop did you see me going back and forth up that road! my "sat nav" did not kick in for a while, so I went the wrong way twice. I have no sense of direction. Take care Janet

Pat and I couldn't get her sat nav working when we drove to Waterton Park Hotel, so we took a wrong turning and ended up in Crofton, rather than Walton. Living in Wakefield, Pat, Jayne, Amanda and I had the least distance to travel to the Yorkshire get-together, but that didn't stop us getting lost. I take my hat off to Carole and Janet who drove from Lancashire and Tee-side to the hotel and didn't get lost.

I only hope when it's finally time for me to shed my mortal coil that God sends an angel to escort me up to Heaven, or as I've got absolutely no sense of direction I'll probably end up taking a wrong turn so I end up 'down below' (LOL)
