Couple statue
I brought myself a statue at the weekend (small one) of a couple embracing (its does have a 'U' rating lol ). I put it in my bedroom for good feny shui to encourage meeting the man for me. However a friend of mine told me not to put it in the bedroom as I'm not in the relationship yet.
So now I'm unsure where to put it? I want to encourage a relationship into my life any ideas where I should place this statue in my home?

I was told when you are single not to have pictures of couples or family in the bedroom. Your single and you want to invite that life into your bedroom not have pictures in there showing that it is already there. But now I'm not sure where to put this little statue I got?!?!

I thought pictures and images of things around you would attract that what you want, and you want to be lovingly embraced in the bedroom lol. .i thought rose quartz in the bedroom would attract love so why not put that there and your statue in the hallway or entrance to your home so you can invite love to enter under your roof. X my problem is I keep being attracted to buddahs or singl lady statues or mother and child statues and 6yr on its still mother and child! Maybe I should invest in embracing couples! X
Thank you libralizzy. I would have thought the same about putting it in my bedroom but as you don't have it yet its not to go in your bedroom as you want to leave space for it to come in, well thats what my friend said anyway. I already have rose quartz in my bedroom.
Have put the statue in the living room window for now don't know where else. Can put it in the hallway as there is no where to put it apart from a shelf which it will get knocked off or the floor. I'm also thinking about putting a rose quartz bacelet around it to?
I invested in the statue as 1) I saw it and liked it but 2) they say to have a vision board, pictures of romance or articles of what your wanting to attract so I thought this statue would fit the bill in a sort of vision board kind of thing?
Lets see what happens? Another friend of mine said she feels that this is the year?!?! so will see about that also lol

And the livingroom probably is a great place as thats your main room and where you would gather socially so hopefully you will draw what you want to you x the rose quartz beside it will hopefully amplify the effect for you x good luck with it x

I think it depends how you feel about the situation.
unless you're following in a specific tradition, then you ask yourself. do YOU feel that keeping the figure in your room will hamper you? if not, it doesn't matter what someone else says.
Hello Aphrodite (and what a wonderful name to invite love into your life).
Your bedroom is perfect for your couple statue because it's all about intention and your bedroom is the seat of the energy surrounding your life life. The south west area of your bedroom is even better if possible. You are saying to the energy 'this is what I want to be in my life'. in a way your intention is creating the blueprint.

Thank you Jackie. That is exactly why I brought the statue and placed it in my bedroom to start with, to invite that energy in. But when my friend said because I don't have a relationship I should not put it in my bedroom but it indicates a relationship already I removed it. I got all confused. That is why I chose the name too, to bring the energy and love of Aphrodite to me.
It is currently in my living room with my rose quartz pendulum hanging on it. Very confused what to do now.
I will take a look at your blog when I get a minute too for more ideas. Thank you.
