Good vs Evil part II
Hi everyone,
Two threads have really given me a lot to think about of last-the John venables one and the good and evil one. Now I know that there are a lot of people who have already commented, but I was wondering if you could take the time to give me your views.
Now I am not sure if I believe in Evil-I'm not saying that it definitely doesn't exists, it's just that I have never really come across it. I have always taken the view that there is love and light in everyone and if there is even the tiniest bit of light then I want to help that person show it. Or realise that they are worth something and they can walk away from the darkness.
I know that I may be naiive in thinking like this and who knows I may have to deal with evil in the future but I have always looked on it that there is good in everyone.

I used to look on it that there was good in everyone but this has been tested. With one person in my life I really wondered if there was as I couldn't and still can't understand why he would treat anyone the way he does. I cut him out of my life so thats done. People like Hitler and Stalin etc really is there good there?!?!
The old thing of are they mad or bad. I try to treat people how I would like to be treated myself but over the past couple of years have realised that it does not work like that, becuase your nice does not mean others will be the same with you. I still try thought I have to admit.

People in this forum and S&D readers are lovely, kind and nice people - similar to Angels, but if somebody want to see Evil, you can go into that"s life! forum. Bauer has a lot of magazines for everyone. I found S&D through that"s life!
An old lady gave me that magazine and I was pleased because there on last page were some jokes. I love jokes a lot and I have a little collection of jokes in a folder.
I joined to the that"s life! forum and was wondered how many people are so negative...
I looked for something more belonging to me and here you are - S&D forum. An excellent magazine and people - ANGELS.

I think some people are sadly very damaged by their life experiences and so their sense of right and wrong is skewed - or maybe they just want to get their own back! Some become addicted to things like cruelty, and others just seem to enjoy being nasty! I do think there is the potential for everyone to be positive and behave better towards others etc - unfortunately some people are unable or do not choose to take this option. In these circumstances, where support and rehabilitation fail, it probably does make sense to keep these people away from others they could harm.
I know what you mean about other Forums Hyena - some of them can be very negative and bitchy, but this one always lifts my spirits!

But it all depends on whether that light will break free in that lifetime. So for Hitler - it didn't.
See now Hitler I believe that as a child there must have been something good in him but he has made choices to be the way he is. I don't know if the original intention was to kill people but as he got more power hungry he felt that he couldn't be defeated. This is my own theory I can't say if that was the case. I'm just hoping that in his next life he isn't the same and finds that light and love should rule the planet, not hate and destruction.
I do love the friendliness of this forum and I think that the good thing about it is we all respect each other's views.

I think that there is an element of evil that exists in our world that presents itself to all and it is down to the individual choice at the time whether they choose to take that path. Anyone who is a good soul will recognise the negative path, but some are blinded by upbringing, social problems, influences that make them act in a way that they would not do otherwise.
Apparently Hitlers last partner said he was very loving - how to explain that in the face of evil? Lynda.
Hitler was vegetarian and socialist too - how on earth do you marry that with such evil acts and mass murder?
I have read that evil demons pray on people and negativity attracts such entities.
There is such atrocity in this world though and you hear some horrible truly bad things unfortunately. I do think people are generally good and the human spirit shall shine through overall though.

Hitler was also facinated with the occult and carried out some pretty weird experiments to try to harness the power of the dark side, I could happly class him as evil without to much pondering.
