1.

Go to photobucket.com and register, it is free

2.

Once logged in you should see a button “Select Images and Videos”, press that

3.

This will bring the file finder dialogue so that you can navigate to file you want to upload. Once selected the file will upload automatically.

4.

When the file has upload click the “Save & Share Now” button

5.

Under the picture, you should see something that says “Direct Link”. Click in the box to the right of it, then right-click and select copy

6.

On the s&d forum, just above the “Submit” button you should see “Switch to plain text editor”, click on this

7.

Scroll down to the bottom and add
<img src=”
at this point press ctrl+v and the http stuff you copied at step 5 should appear. Finish as follows:
“ width=”80%” alt=”” />

8.

Press “Submit”.

So the text you are adding at step 7 should look like this (but in black and white):

<img src=”http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa296/HiArt99/spogulis1.jpg” width=”80%” alt=”” />

colour and underlining

OK,

might as well explain colour and underlining too.

Using step 6 above:

On the s&d forum, just above the “Submit” button you should see “Switch to plain text editor”, click on this.

To underline add

<u>This text is underlined</u> in the plain text editor

colour add

<font color="red">This text is red</font>

Hope that makes sense. You must do this is the plain text editor though.

Hi. I tried to follow your tips on inserting photos, but I stiill had no luck. Have you inserted photos recently? I just wondered if S&D changed the format of the site when they changed the layout. Even my brainbox computer daft hubby can't work out where we're going wrong.

Posting a picture

The picture has to be on the internet somewhere, either google an image, take it from your Facebook photos or whatever.

Right click on it and select "copy image location".

Reply or write a new post on S&D.

Click on the little coloured rectangle at the top right of your post.

Where it says URL, right click and then paste your image location then press save and there it is!

Hope this helps

Love Kirsty xx
