From Hyena and Indalomoon
Aina (Hyena) has painted a picture of what she sees as a book cover for one of Jenny's (Indalomoon) books and I have been asked to post here for them.
Hyena would like some comments from you lovely people.
This looks brilliant to me, and would attract the eye on a book stand!

For uploading the picture and for the instructions you sent me for the future. I would love to hear what thoughts others have when they look at it and I will tell you all if you are on the right track with the book and/or what came across to me the minute I saw it.

To me the lady represents a confident young lady who is self assured and comfortable with herself and she is looking into the good times of what is to come. Whether that be spiritual enlightenment or an inner peace as reward for the hardwork she has done. X

Unusual - that is the right word. I have about 700 unusual sketchs in my sketchbook and I was happy to paint this one.
Sometimes I see those pictures in my dreams, sometimes I see them in my head and draw in my sketchbook immediately. I like to show them to people and ask what they are. Somebody says they are tattoos, music, flowers from another planet, aliens or something in water...
I a bit scare to tell you what they are, but they are gifts to me from the Angel of the Death. If the Angel of the Death touchs somebody for a mistake, He is giving for that person some gifts from the Heaven.
Everything from the Heaven is very bautiful. My granddaughter love my pictures a lot. Some of them she kiss and laugh but about one she says that it is broken... This last one made her a bit shy and she started to do my hair.

The picture is beautiful, and I'd definitely look at the book that this was the cover for.
To me, the picture is about direction, which option to take. The figure is standing in front of a shape with what look like jewels at the cardinal points. The 'west' point is not as clear as the others, and she appears to be looking through a sort of 'looking glass' effect.

The first thing that I noticed was what to me looked like the points of a compass. This to me means balance. There is also fire and water- this to me is the personality of the lady. She is very fiery and passionate but there is also alot of deep emotions that she she doesn't tend to express.
The other view that I had was that she was spreading light in a world full of darkness.
Am I close?

I am glad to read your opinions. Every each opinion is right. A mirror could be a brooch but if you do it bigger, it is something to wear on head and to predict. The right diamond - Past, left - Future, On the front of you - short term Future, behaind you - a Partner. Simply...but dangerous. I don't like to try it, so a lady in the picture stays just next to the mirror.From this position we can read everything that happened in the Past.
But anyway, the picture is eyecatching, isn't it?

I waited a while to see what reaction there was this beautiful picture from Hyena and what people thought it represented. Just to remind you, the lovely lady who drew it said it was connected to my book.
I couldn't place it as being connected as a book cover but the first thing that instantly drew me was the dress. You see, one of the publishers that I have sent the books to is called Harlequin. Someone has stated that they thought the points of the mirror represented options and I am reaching a point where I will need to re-assess my options in life, albeit I don't want to.
The only other thing I can add is that I come over all strange and warm when I look at this picture, as though my insides turn to jelly. (Can't really describe it.)

Everything is OK. I am happy you like the picture. It is my present to you and it is really well that other people like it too.
Publishers know what they do. They have a huge experience and I am still sure - the book will be brilliant.
I a bit thought about children"s books illustration. I have a lot of free time now - everything that is bad is good too, so I will try. You know - I am an optimist.
