Just starting out...
Hi everyone,
I'm also new to Spirit & Destiny [forum and magazine] and am just starting out on my spiritual journey... so please be gentle with me. lol.
I know from my Angels Oracle Cards that I am making steady progress and I wondered if anyone could recommend some books that I should read which would let me know which signs to look out for in order to know that my Angels are with me and what they are trying to tell me...I know about feathers [hence my post on coloured feathers], coins, numbers and birds but I'm eager to learn of more....or should I just accept that they are with me and stop looking for signs? Please help!
I've read a couple of Diana Cooper's Angel books which I really enjoyed. I'm also interested in past lives, crystals, meditation, yoga, reiki and lots more.

hi shanti, i too am new an just starting out .an excellent book to read is SONIA CHOQUETTE ask your guides. i use this book to dip into an its very easy going as she gives you excersises to do it helped me alot. i have lots of signs to an i ask the angels for bigger ones all the time, but genrally i have daisies an feathers an coins an more. personally i dont take anything for granted as far as angels being with me all the time but i do TRUST spirit an know they are with me at all times as i see energies alot around my house. its a wounderfull gift an we should use it to our advantage if we dont how will we ever develop an grow spiritually. look forward to getting to know loads more people an chatting too you soon. lnl

I am a newby too - i have listened to the audio book of sonia chocquette - some good information and exercises as Jane said. I first read Sherron Mayes "be your own psychic", which has lots of development exercises, advice and information - also very easy to read. I have just finished reading Doreen Virtue's book "The Lightworker's Way" - which is intriguing and hit a nerve with me (and backs up the info in the other two books) - this has led me on to further reading and I now want to do some face-2-face training .... just to make sure i am really on the right track

Hi there I'm new to this so be gentle with me. Asking for help to the angels universe is something I do on a regular basis but have no results am I trying to hard or what? I have the faith, I have the loved ones above looking down on me so what am I doing wrong. HELP is required, but what.
has a website too, she's written loads of books about angels, has done beautiful packs of Angel Cards, and does Angel Therapy Practitioner Courses, so does her son Charles.
I find her one of the best, and yes, I also read "The Lightworker's Way".

One of the things that i forget (!!) is that the signs are usually so subtle, that i often miss them if i'm not "in that frame of mind" - - I would suggest taking up meditation (if you haven't already) as this has a way of calming the mind and opening the channels a little. so when you are sent a sign it is easier to 'listen to' and understand.
the hardest bit is accepting/listening to signs that you don't want to hear :-(
