Hi, I'm not sure if many of you know or not but I am vegetarian, and I DON'T mean to preach (honestly ;D ) but I did come across this awful site
www.kfccruelty.com and I thought I'd share it, as so many companies are putting blinders on us. Please don't be offended anybody or think I'm being a hippy, preachy, veggie, I just thought you might find it eye opening. I'm not asking anybody to go veggie at all, promise :)
i absolutely love kfc and actually detest mcdonalds now! thought it was safe from all the rumours about various fast food outlets. the vid is pretty gruesome though. if i were a chicken i wudnt b happy!! :o
Vegetarian or not i dont think anyone would condone this.
I do wish though they exmployed better spokes people for these sort of campaigns. Im sure Pamela Anderson is a very nice person in reality but i wouldnt personally consider her a role model... nor Jodie Marsh for PETA... or Heather Mills....
I would be careful tarring all KFCs with the same brush as different countries have different standards of animal husbandry. The vid is obviously not UK. However, KFC probably does not source it's chicken locally.
what you mean! Thanks for watching it everybody. Art, I understand what you mean, but from what I've seen, if the meat is free range, they usually boast about it. If its not, they skip around it.
Did you know that none free range chickens actually have better lives?
No, I am not talking the difference between battery and free-range. Battery farming is horrible.
There was a BBC program a couple of years back and it surprised the reporter too.

Im not a vegetarian but i often dabble with the idea,maybe one day i will roll that way im not sure..But im against any cruelty on any soul.
Animal cruelty makes me feel physically sick so im sorry skyblue i really couldnt watch your link.Im however very supportive to the cause
thankyou for sharing and for caring the way you do,its just awful the way animals are treated.
I saw an advert for cruelty to bears last week and it made me cry.My son who is three,said mum why is that man hurting him like that...all i could say is ..I dont know darlin,i really dont know..

It's a fact of life, something has to die for us to live. That includes Plants. The husbandry should be as kind as possible.

I've been a veggie since I was ten, although I fell of the wagon big style when I was pregnant (very rare steak would you believe! the craving was unbelievable!) but the minute I popped my girl I was back to being a veggie again.
