I love this idea!! When we discussed coloured feathers on another thread, I went to bed last night and an image of a red feather popped into my head. Have been told this is a good sign!! I have written it in my journal and have send images out to the universe and hope to manifest it by next Friday. Will let you know!! Lyn xx

The first I think everyone needs to do is buy a journal. Make sure its a lovely one that is touchy feely so you enjoy writing in it. You then need to start writing in this morning or night or both everything that you give thanks for or grateful for. This can be as silly as the hot water that you have, the shampoo you use. Also say thanks for the things that you want too. So I would say Thank you for my size 10 figure (im not a size 10) Shall we start with this and then look at manifesting? Love Jackie xx

I had a lovely journal free gift in the Phsycology magazine I bought today. I will use that! Very good idea. I'll going to write in mine in the evenings. More time. I say all my thank yous in the morning too, but more time in the evenings to sit and write!Lyn xx

If you write in your book in the evenings and then any other time you can just say them out loud. When im walking charlie my dog I say you for the trees, the weather, the lovely field Im walking on etc. If people feel happy we can discuss what people would like to manifest and we could help them to focus on it.. I always say thanks for my children, my car, my job, the money I have in the bank and in savings, my house, my friends, my family, my hobbies, my spiritual path, all those things. And then if I see something special, like a lovely sunset or just walking on the beach, I say thank you for that too. Lyn xx

i thinnk this is a fab idea. when i read the secret last year i was really inspired to make some changes but its so easy just to slip back into the routine of negative thinking. something daily/weekly like this could help keep us all on track! i'm gonna do a board like jackie's too, its fantastic! love alison xxx

Yes its about the feeling that you put into it as you are saying thanks. Has anyone got any good stories on things they have manifested? I can tell you about a couple of mine, I mentioned the green feather in the other thread. I then decided that I wanted a new front door but had no idea how I was going to pay for it as I didnt have that kind of spare cash. So I wrote it in my journal and described what I wanted and said would like it by March 2009. THat same week I took Charlie out and lost my house key on the field so when I got back I couldnt get in my house. As I was stood outside a pvc door salesman came past and started speaking to me - i would normally shut the door in their face- anyway I booked an appointment adn bought the door and got a very good discount by using their finance option. Oh yes and I also asked for the key to appear and it did when I went on the field the next day I found it!!! I also wanted a new laptop and had decided that I was going to pay for it by incentive vouchers that I got through work, only I was about £50 short. So I sat at my desk and visualised doing another Mauritius booking (thats what I earnt the vouchers on) and asked for it by end of the month. The very next morning i took a phone call for a Mauritius booking and he said he didnt want to ring around and would book with me - I got the booking and earnt another £100 voucher!! What a great way to start the year, I've read 'The Secret' & 'Cosmic Ordering', and have 'The Power of Now' so am aware of LoA, but also sometimes slip into negativity too quickly. Last year I started on a visualization picture & literally manifested a man into my life, but as it never worked out I think my thought processes went awry somewhere along the way. I may have other examples too, but can't quite think of them at the moment - my youngest is badgering me about some missing lego pieces, maybe I'll try manifesting them :) Love Nura x

Yes, I do use positive affirmations every day. Only simple ones. I am happy. I am joyful. I have energy and enthusiasm. I will enjoy spending time in .......'s company. That sort of thing. Lyn xx

If I manage to manifest him you will all be the first to know and of course be invited to the wedding!!!!! Pat I love that affirmation it is perfect for your situation. Have you tied LOA to help with finding Gary? I could probably help you with it if you want me too? Im not saying that it would work but its worth a try. Well i wrote down my next manifestation last night, unfortunatley I got yet another speeding ticket over the christmas period!! I was doing 36mph so hardly speeding but anyway. So I have asked for no further action to be taken against my speeding ticket. I now have to trust the Universe....I will let you know if it works or not. You do have to remember that not everything you ask for will materialise if you have limiting beliefs about the situation. Love Jackie xx

Just ordered the book and dvd from amazon. Hoping the dvd will make it easier to go over rather than trying to find right section in book to re read.

I'll get journal to write in too. I do say thank you for more things now since i've been on this forum and people have suggested it. It had never been something i'd thought of before. ps to get the spaces between lines go on 'Preview comment' box below and then you can put in spaces. took me a while to find out how some people managed to do that! still don't know where to find smiley faces though!

If you hit the reply button in the bottom right corner of someones previous post you get a whole load of boxes come up above the dialogue box, one of them is smiley central and has all the expressions you've seen in peoples posts! Lol Monica xxx

Hi Lingem THe dvd is very easy to watch. I havent read the books but I have the the CDS and play them in my car. There are 4 of them and great to listen too. Its good that you are all getting nice journals and creating your vision boards, cant wait to see the pictures of them. Does anyone want to try manifesting something? Maybe something small to start with, perhaps like the feather that I did. Oh yes I would also go on thesercret.tv and download the Universe blank cheque and get that on your vision board. Yes, I have downloaded this and printed it off. I put an amount in, but that was at the beginning of my L of A journey and many emotional things have happened since then and the energies have been blocked so I will definately be printing it off again and pinning it to my vision board!!!

 I now feel like my messages will look a bit clearer

I went to TK Maxx today to find a nice box to put my things in. Asked Angels to help me find the right one at a good price. After looking for a few minutes I couldn't find exactly what i wanted, so asked again. Went back down aisle i'd already tried, but this time there it was! A lovely box with the word 'Faith' on it. How good is that! so off in a minute to fill it up!

I'll get that blank cheque off the computer you were saying about to. And yes i'd like to try and manifest something. (did i manifest that box?)

Im sure you manifested your box or even if you didnt manifest it you certainly had help from the angels in picking the right one. I love the fact it has the word "Faith" on it, how apt is that!!! Another good website to use is Tut.com i think thats what it is. They send you daily messages that are linked to what your goals are. Sometimes you get a message and think wow that is so right for me today. Love Jackie xxxx

I have read The Secret a couple of times and have the DVD. I have a vision board and I am working on visualising having what I want. I always ask the Parking Angel for a space and it always works so why shouldn't we be able to ask for anything else we desire? I'm not rich but I have found that I always seem to have enough money (and even some over) since I stopped worrying about it so much! I also get the daily email from TUT.COM and have found them brilliant for keeping my mind on what is important. And, like Jackie, I often find them spookily appropriate. Love Pauline

Love the idea of a wishing box - I use something similar with reiki.  You get a paper box and either draw the 2nd degree reiki symbols on it's insides.  Then on pieces of paper you write anything that you wish to manifest in your life or the names of people/animals etc you wish to send healing to.  Then each time you send distant healing holding the box it acts on the contents.

I need to review mine for the new year - main objective this year is for my business to really take off.  I need to print off the cheque from the Secret site as I think having that will make a difference....

Hi Everyone,

Just watched the most amazing episode of Deal or No Deal and think it was real proof how the law of attraction/positive thinking can really work.  The old lady who's game it was had already listed her order of numbers and was getting towards the end with an offer of £20k.  She said that she would "Deal" but when Noel asked the question she said "No deal" by mistake.  The whole audience gasped!!  Then the Banker gave her the option to answer again (which isn't the normal rule) and she said she must have said it wrong for a reason so she'd go with "No Deal".  When it came to the last boxes she had either £50k or £75k and she asked to exchange her box because the last number she had on her list was the other box - 5 (also her lucky number).  She won £75k.  All the way through she had been sure that her list was right & it certainly was!!!

I hope this inspires everyone else to be brave with their wishes and not compromise because they don't think they deserve it - to paraphrase a well known cosmetic company we're all "Worth it"!!!

Yesterday I picked out some cards from my Louise Hay affirmation card deck and I have pinned them to my fridge so that everytime I go in I can see them. Im also going to put them on my mirrors too so that I see them all the time
