Water
This week's meditation is oceans/streams/rivers/water in general. I know we have had alot of it this last few days, but it is such an important part of our survival. There are some that get too much and some that get hardly any at all.
I spent some time looking at rivers yesterday and feeling the nature of them, the movement and felt a connection. There is so much pollution these days so if we could concentrate on clean oceans and rivers for wildflife, not only fish but birds and other creatures that depend on the things that live in water for their food.
Also that there is a balance and people that need water for crop growing and for clean drinking water get it and those that get washed out by floods, get a bit less of it!

Wanted to put this back on the first page so everyone has a chance to comment on the meditation this Wednesday. Lyn xx
... I'll be working tomorrow night now, but will send thoughts when I finish. Water's very important to us Pisceans! And given the current heatwave - how long do you reckon til a hosepipe ban????

I love the water too! I live by the sea and watch is daily from my window. And like you say, how long til a hose pipe ban!!! Looking forward to hearing everyones expericences! And Kirsty - will be interesting to see if you feel anything at 9pm, whether you are meditating or not! Your spirit will be with us! Lyn xx
... but it felt lovely and peaceful - and there was a gorgeous sunset and the sound of running water from a nearby house as I did it!

I am lucky enough to live on the coast, so I sat in my front room and watched the sea and the waves, the boats, the seagulls and imagined clear water, millions of fish, happy dolphins and whales, and creatures in and on rivers too, all having a lovely, unpolluted environment to live in. Lyn xx
Although I live about 15-20mins stroll away from the sea, last night I put on a cd of relaxing music with the sound of waves ebbing and flowing on the shoreline as I looked a glorious seascape photograph and meditated about all things marine/water related: it was very calming; very beautiful and I felt at one with Mother Earth... Unfortunately no sea in sunny Cheshire but instead I sat concentrating on all bodies of water including our fish pond!
Felt very calm and peaceful plus the reiki I sent too was doing it's job as I was all tingly!
Looking forward to next week's meditation.
In love & light,
Janet

PS - good idea about the music Row (doh never thought of that!!)
I imagined myself in a boat, looking down into the clear warm sea and seeing all the sea life happily going about its business.
Then I was by a lovely clear stream, unpolluted, with healthy fish in it.
I have to say that our River Tees has improved greatly over the past decades. When I was a child, if you went for a walk by the river you could smell it before you saw it, there were no fish and you were supposed to be in danger of poisoning rather than drowning if you fell in.
Nowadays it's a very different river, with plenty of fish and waterfowl. And pleasant to be near!

Here is a free musical meditation I made which takes you on a journey through the earth's water-cycle as a raindrop. Download the MP3 file here and enjoy!
