Hi Kirsty, thats such a good idea to make the list, and specifying the problem area helps concentrate on the problem, and sending more positive thoughts to heal it....hope that makes sense.
Im only learning this, I read somewhere that its good to ground yourself and protect yourself, even before you send out healing to others....correct me if im wrong, or add anything to this.
Please could you add me to the list too, Im moving house this week too. Love and blessings, crystalblue.
I'm honestly not sure if you NEED to ground or protect yourself before sending healing - I do if doing it as part of a a meditation or other process, but not if just sending q uick boost of love to someone - perhaps someone else can confirm for us? I don't think it will do any harm though!
Love Kirsty xx
I do a quickie protection Crystalblue especially if sending healing to someone who has very negative or destructive vibes themselves, or simply because I don't want to pick up remanants of what I'm sending the healing for because I'm in their line of thought. I'm not saying that happens, but prevention is better than cure and like Kirsty says can do no harm. Lynda.
I ask the God and Goddess to protect me as I meditate, including 'quick' healing ones now, just to be on the safe side, something I picked up from threads in here. I also wear turquoise for protection but I don't know if this is applicable to all who meditate or not.
The bit I'm confused on ( and perhaps this ought to be on a diff thread really - sorry! ) is that I've read from different sources that doing activities such as craft work and ironing/sewing etc can bring on a 'meditative state' - and I have no idea if that is something that needs protection too! When I am making up an item of jewellry for a friend or relative I find myself thinking about them eg birthday wishes and health and happiness for a neice whilst making her present. I wouldn't have thought that required protection though but please can someone correct me if I am wrong? Thanks x
My list is ready for 9pm tonight and I'd like to thank Kirsty for always thinking of others ( anything you need for yourself love ? ) BB JenStar xx
Jenstar I would have thought the days general protection would cover the day to day or work activities, and healing or extras a quick burst. I do a protection for the day in my car on the way to work. Talking about meditative states, I was thinking about other things when I was in the McDonald's queue yesterday with my 12 year old daughter. I ordered and paid for the food - and then promptly drove past the collection window. Meditative state or senior moment? Mmmmm! Lynda.
:D Oops Lynda... I had better not start talking about my meditative states/senior moments/blonde states or I will never get off this forum! :)
I hadn't thought about protecting myself for the entire day, I tend to ask for specific bursts and then thank afterwards... hmmm... might give that one a go. ( Apologies for going a bit off-topic! ) love JenStar x
... could I add my hubby's arthritic knee - he's been in a lot of pain with it over the last few weeks. Thanks Jen and everyone else!
Love Kirsty xx
*Bump!*
Thanks for clarifying for me,,,,as sometimes I may read a topic, and find myself wantin to respond, but if im feeling low myself,,I get a bit lost if im doing things ok or not.
thank you for the healing sent :)
Kirsty I am so sorry I didn't get to log on later so I missed your request for your hubby's knee but I will add him to my list for next wed night. Thank you all and I enjoyed the meditation :) xx
He really needs a knee replacement but is too young really for this to be viable, so needs to hang on in there with his knee as it is for as long as he can.

Hi Kirsty,
I couldn't manage wednesdays meditation, so have just included you all in my own little one this morning...
love and light Debbie x
My Mum had to get change from a tenner so bought a coffee at the drive through. She paid, drove off at extra high speed past the second window! Then she had to reverse it back to collect the coffee in front of a load of people. She's terrible at reversing so it took a few goes! Argh, the embarrasment will never leave me ;)
I've been practising learning to meditate so I popped into this thread and have seen you have included me this week! That is so lovely of you as my problem is just me being a wimp compared to the others with much more 'proper' problems.
So thank you very much xx P.S A while a go I said I was giving meditating and healing a go, and I did for people on here and also my aunty's best friend who just found out she has bowel cancer. The doc has now said it hasn't spread, so fingers crossed
Skyblue - thank you for that reassurance - depending on how old your mum is of course! And yes, my daughter is traumatised by me too. She was on the phone to her sister with 'you'll never guess what mum's just done' even before I left the bloomin forecourt. Oh the shame. I reassured myself with the fact that one of my friends put her glasses in her freezer. But then she IS about 10 years older than me! Hey ho.....
Kirsty - don't know how old your hubby is but one of my friends has just had a very successful knee op and she's 43.
Lynda.

Thanks Kirsty I will join in with this. Please could I also include my sister who is due to have her second baby any day. Thought it was going to happen on Tuesday but nothing. Will also include anyone needing support and love on this forum that perhaps has not mentioned it yet. Love and light Ang x
