Hi,

I just came across the forum and thought I would register as I do read S & D and other spiritual magazines and spiritual/philosophy books. It would be nice to chat to anybody like minded as my friends don't know that I am into this sort of stuff. They would think I was a bit of a crazy lady if they knew.

I'm nearly 24 and from West Yorkshire been into mediumship really all my life even when I was just old enough to talk I could see spirits. My great grandma was very psychic so I don't know whether you can inherit spiritual sight from your ancestors. I could see fully formed spirit people as real as you and me until I was 7 years old, then I began to feel or hear spirit instead. At 15 I started seeing spirits orbs again. At present I feel them constantly, or see spirit in my meditations, dreams and through psychometry.

Its just been in the last 3/4 years that I have decided to learn how to ground and protect myself properly with going to spiritual development groups, awareness classes and been to snu churches locally to me. I guess because I have time to develop due to having a long term illness (CFS/ME which I have had for nearly 13 years) I have decided to give it a go. I would love to fully develop to my potential as I have spoke to mediums who believe this is my life purpose, I guess I am a bit wary as I don't know what way to go with this sense/gift other than develop it and see what happens.

My interests in spiritual side of life are in areas such as philosophy especially buddhism, hinduism, spiritualism, shinto. I have a keen interest in angels, tarot and would like to learn reiki. I like going to meditation sessions, spiritual workshops and fairs.

If you haven't already, go the the General Discussions Forum, as that's where most people chat - and just join in! Everyone is really friendly and helpful, and you'll find plenty of people who share your interests. I'm a Tarot reader, and am interested in learning more about herbs and crystals.

Its slightly funny as I have M.E and also live in Leeds.

I have been developing properly and going to circles for about 6 years, but before that I kinda dipped and delved into lots of things that took my fancy.
