new to forums
Hi all I have been reading S&D for ever and often use the advice given. I have never used a forum before but thought you nice folk might be able to help.
Around 4 years a go there was a spell in S&D to sell houses. It involved tissue paper, a green crayon and you had to bury the tissue in the back left of your garden. Trouble is I can't remember what had to be written on the tissue.
Can any one remember this spell and let me know the missing bits?
love and peace to all.
Hi anita99, I'm sorry i can not help you, re the spell, but just wanted to say a warm welcome to the forum,i am sure if anyone can help you with the spell then they will do so. anyway enjoy the forum, you will find everyone so helpful and encouraging.
Love, Light & Blessings
Adrian
Hmm, don't remember the one you mean, but in create-a-spell mode, you'd probably write something about removing any blockages to selling the house - then as the tissue rots away it'll do the job.
Make the words up for yourself and they'll have more personal power for you. Hope that's some help from an also newbie!

Welcome to the site! Unfortunately I cant help either but hopefully one of the many Wiccans on the site may recall the spell,

Hi Adrian,
I'm a bit of a novice to be honest. I dabble in crystal healing, and I used to read tarot cards, but I got sidetracked a little, and haven't done that for a while. I'd like to know a bit more about Native Indian culture and history. I might research it... Thank you!
Peace and Love

Just wanted to add my welcome to S & D forum. As you see forum members are very friendly and I know you'll really enjoy chatting to everyone. Sorry to hear you lost your mom recently, I can understand how hard that must be for you, as I lost my dear mom 9 years ago. Pleased your redundancy proved a positive thing for you as you've since done your holistic therapy training since then. I love Indian head massage and reflexology. I had a dear friend who did both and he used to practice on me. There are many S & D members who are Reiki practitioners or who are thinking about doing Reiki training, so you'll have plenty of like-minded people to chat too. I was made redundant on 20 March this year, but a few positive things have come about for me too because of this. Being out of work has given me the time to set up my own Spiritual Quest forum, that members on here suggested I should do. I've also been able to spend more time writing and catching up on my spiritual work, so I agree redundancy can have an up-side too.
Look forward to chatting to you sometime.

Hiya everyone, thanks to you all for your kind words and warm welcomes. Im sorry to hear about your losses to pat. Losing a job you can cope with, losing your mum is a whole different deal. My loss devastated me, dont mind telling you and days im still in disbelief. The redundancy was scary cos for 19 years all i knew was office work and the thought of starting again is daunting but im learing to see a positive side to every negative situation and i believe whats for you in life wont go by you. I have a 3year old son who just started nursery in january and i have to be thankful that i got to spend the young irreplaceable years with him through being made redundant. It was also through him i was put on this path as we were both referred for baby massage course when he was months old and the center that ran it also had fun introductory courses in holistic treatments. As id took a year of on maternity i was able to attend them while my mum watched my son. I loved them and realised i was actually good at them! So the redundancy made me think maybe i can use this to do something i actually enjoy while helping someone in process. I am now at college and although I cant do full time courses with wee one, im doing partime evening while my sis babysits. Have no idea where im going with this but i feel its meant for me. Im not the most confident of people so even tho it may not seem ive achieved a lot i know me being me i have and i give myself a pat on the back. So, there, you have a little bit more about me. Hope it helps. If i dont always answer rite away im nt being rude, i only have internet on my mobile and im nt that good at it! Bear with me! X blessings to you all x
What an adventure you have been on! Amazing how the Universe gets us all on our learning paths! Although I have not been made redundant (thank goodness for that) icannot empathise with you there but I too have lost my dad, my parents divorced when I was young and a whole lot of other stuff around that has carried through, it has all made me stronger, got me out to the UK and more... what a wonderful journey (despite setbacks)!
C xxx
Thats rite cherry. My mum used to always say the back was made for the burden and youl never get more than you can handle. While that seems unbelievable at times it always proved to b true because you do always get there. I believe people and events are put in your path for a reason and sometimes your fortunate enough to see it at the time but it shapes you to be a stronger person. More often than not you can take what you learned from a particular situation, crisis or event and if you can help even just 1 person from your experience then its not been in vain. X
Definitely whole-heartedly agree with what your mom used to say. I know I'm definitely a much stronger person because of the life I've lived. It also made me want to help others and (thanks to God and spirit) I've been shown lots of ways over the years, in which I could do this. I think it's wonderful that you've been led down your spiritual pathway in the way you have, many members on this forum, I'm sure all feel the same way. It's fantastic that forums like this now allow like-minded people to get together so they can share their experiences and support each other. Many years ago a spirit helper of mine told me when we die, all we will be judged by is how many people we've left better, or worse, for having known us while we've lived. I believe that's a good way to look at how we should try and live our lives, not for a reward when we die, but because helping others is a reward in itself. It's wonderful to belong to a community like S & D forum, because it truly reflects how many lovely, warm, caring people there are and we hardly ever get to see that on TV, or in the media, there's just so much doom and gloom on TV and in general, and that, I feel, only makes most people who are already feeling depressed, feel even more depressed. What this world needs is more love and light, and there's certainly plenty of that on here.
Love Pat xxx
Your friends statement makes a very good point to reflect on Pat, doesnt it. I love sayings like that cos they are really meaningful and touch your heart. I agree there are a lot of good people with good hearts out there. So are you interested in a particular area spiritually or open to all. The more i hear the more i want to learn. Im forever in the body and soul and self healing section of the book shops! Im sure im starting to look suspicious!
Love and blessings. Lizzy x
Hiya Lizzy, I'm a comparative newbie and have to say that everyone on here is sooo friendly and nice, and you just get absorbed into one big, spiritual family . . . group hug everyone!
You're all lovely (and I'm not even drunk when I'm saying this!)
I'm open to just about all spiritual areas. I've been a spiritualist medium and psychic for over 30 years, was a spiritual healer for about 15 years and teach psychic awareness groups too. I've experienced quite a bit spiritually as all my family were mediumstic and or healers. Have had many psychic and spiritual experiences and done a lot of investigation (tracking down information to prove if spiritual communications were true or not, rather than ghost hunting, though I've seen those too and psychic disturbance). I recently set up Spiritual Quest forum after our S & D's Jan suggested this, and several other members agreed I should. There's a link to my new forum on one of the S & D postings if you want to have a look, quite a few S & D members now use my forum, so we chat on there as well as on S & D now. I've quite a large collection of psychic/spiritual/paranormal books, videos and CD's as I've been collecting these for years and have quite a collection of psychic tools and oracles that I use with my psychic awareness students. I really enjoy writing and wrote inspirational poetry and writings over the years, I've posted some on SQ. Love anything angelic and my cottage is full of angel figurines as my daughter started buying these for me after I moved into my cottage. My favourite bookshop is The Works and I never pass without calling in. I might be in danger of becoming a psychic book junkie (LOL) Joining this forum has definitely changed my life in many ways. I've met lots of new friends and I really like the way S & D members support and help each other. It really is like belonging to one huge like-minded family, which is lovely.
Look forward to chatting again.

Hi,i am new on here been reading s/d for years now.For the first 7 years of my life i was in contact with a young spirit girl whom i used to play with daily, i also used to get my bed rocked each night until i went to sleep up until the age of 16 by a gentleman spirit who showed himself to me once,he also use to rub my shoulder quite often.Although my experiences stopped at the age of 16 i would like to see if i still have the ability and be able to help others, just dont know where to start.could anyone give me some advice please.thankyou Donna x x x
Sounds like you've had some lovely experiences! I've not really had any and can't offer any advice i'm afraid, but I know you'll find loads on here from a few people. Good luck with it, Linda x
thankyou linda
Hi Donna, a warm welcome to the forum!
From the sound of things (and having just finished reading the book!) it sounds like you should have a read of 'when ghosts speak' by Mary Ann Winkowski - should help you!
C xxx
i will do that,i have started meditating heard that helps x x
Hi ya,
I'm new to the forum but have read spirit & destiny for a few years. Just wanted to say hi to everyone. Is this a new sight or have i just not noticed it in the magazine before. Hope your all well :)

Hi ,I joined the forum last night.I,m 49 [big 50!next March] married with one 11 year old daughter and live in Northwich,Cheshire.I follow a wiccan pathway and am interested in ghosts. We have two cats, one black and white [my daughters]and a black one[my one!].My Nana read cards and my Aunt read tea leaves,so I come from what some people would call a long line of weirdos!I look forward to talking to like minded souls.Anyone live in my area? Brightest Blessings
I live just outside Stafford, not too far from Cheshire! Your family sounds a bit like mine. I had an aunt that could 'talk to dead people' according to her sister! And my Nan always claimed that she was burnt as a witch in a previous life! Look forward to chatting with you on the forums.

Hi - I saw the article in Sp and Destiny and as I live in Sale wondered if you would like to meet up? I mainly do Bowen therapy but also Reiki and crystal therapy. We may even have bumped in to each other at Stockport MBS! Looking forward to your reply. Sara Dragon
