Please help me with this mechanical problem!
Hi everyone, hope you are all well. Right I have had to come on here and ask for some positive thoughts and suggestions please, as my car has been off road for about 6 weeks. My car wont start at all, its just failing to fire up. I have replaced spark plugs, coil pack is fine, and new crank sensor fitted, and its not an electrical problem, as I had that looked at. The problem is the ecu, its not responding at all, and cant read any data from it, so the computer cannot be able to diagnose the problem. I managed to get another ecu, but that one isnt any good either. I have tried using visualisations and affirmations, and also asked the angels to help but the problem still remains. This being a mechanical problem makes it seem so out of place asking for help, but I thought I could ask for some positive thoughts, well wishes or practical suggestions from you lovely members, as Im really desperate, Im moving house this week, and the new place is miles away from my current home, so I really would need to use a car. Please help any positive thing I could try to get it going would be great. xx love and blessings, crystalblue.

I had a problem with my car and we just did not know what it was, it was still going though. We looked on the Internet, just goggled the car and there were loads of website discussing common problems this may help. Also have you looked in a Haynes manual for your car; you can get these in Halfords. Cheeky I know but they car a bit expensive for the amount of time you need it so my Dad and myself just had a look in the shop, so naughty ha ha. I took my Dad because I would not understand a word of it.
If hope you get it sorted soon I need my car to get to and from work so would be lost without it.

Hi Kimberley, Zoe and Ang, thanks for writing back, just reading your posts, gave me such a warm feeling inside, I didnt think anyone would reply, as it seems a bit out of place,,,ther are other forums I could have posted! Thanks girls, it means so much to me.
Kimberley, I was starting to feel the same, that maybe a new one is on the horizons! but with a house move that, is going to have to wait, but maybe I will put in an order to the universe, and wait and see where it leads. Im going to look at joining one of those homestart covers, as I cant have a car not starting at home, and then not having enough cover for the AA to come and have a look at it.
Zoe, its such a setback, as now I cant go to work, shopping takes for ever, cant take the kids out,,,,,I just realise how useful a car is. Gosh sorry for the rant. Hoping for something to work out real soon.
Ang, thanks for that google reminder, I will definately try that. I got thte Haynes guide, but have no idea which section to look in,,,will probably give it to the mechanic, hopefully he will know how to work round it. xx Love and blessings crystalblue.
...you just reminded me, a very good psychic friend of mine had car trouble when she had not long started out on her spiritual path and decided that in order to get to her readings, she would put in a request to the angels...she asked that a vehicle be provided as it was necessary to have a reliable one, in order to help others through her spiritual work...the following week, she was contacted from take a break to say she had won that weeks 'star car' !.....she has gone from strength to strength in her mediumship and is still using the same car now !...now thats a cool bit of cosmic ordering i'd say !

being a fella i can let you in on one of our closely gaurded male secrets:
- get a really big hammer
- Threaten the car using so many swear words that a Sailor would blush
- Hit the car until it works
But, Shhhh, we don't want the whole world to know our trade secrets.
If the above doesn't work, blame the last person who serviced it and buy a new car proclaiming "it was time for a change anyway".

Kimberley, what a great experience that happened so fast, and that applies to me, as Im just starting out on my spiritual journey, and I know what I want to do, and it will involve helping others,,,I want to learn reiki and distance healing, and have found a lovely lady that would teach me. Crystalblue I didn't want to come across as negative so waited until others had answered first, but I felt straight away on reading your post that this car is not for you. Can't explain why but it just isn't. Obviously I don't know what your finances are like or what position you are in to get rid of/change it so that is up to you. Can you borrow/hire a car to move house. Sorry but no amount of positive thoughts or affirmations will make the car miraculously a good one if it isn't. However I agree with putting up a prayer or cosmic order. I loved my last car but when it started to cause me problems simply because of its age I asked the angels to help. I then opened the newspaper at the car section and one literally jumped out of the page at me. I'd never heard of the model so didn't even know what it looked like. I rang a friend to see if he could come and look at it with me and lo and behold he was just walking past that exact garage there and then! He went in, looked at it, and asked them to let me have first dibs. I loved it. A week later my friend asked me to turn on to Topgear - 'my' car had won best small car out of all the hundreds in its category. It's not very powerful but cheap on fuel and tax, and gets me from A to B. Good luck both with the car and house move. Lynda.

I am sorry to hear of your car trouble. Its aweful when w edepend on our car because we live further out. Do you have AA or rac or anything. you could call them for a 'home start'. If you dont why dont you join, then wait a few days then call and say you need them to call....would be cheaper maybe. They have equipment that they can check it with and fault find ? I pay about 15 pounds a month to AA and they are brilliant. This includes breakdown/roadside assitance and home start.Unfortunately, alot of modern cars have computers in the engines and they are expensive if they go...or is that what an ecu is ?... I spent a lot in different garages with an ex car I had.....I eventually went to the main dealers(more expensive I know) but hey found out immediately it was the computer that had gone.....sorry cant think of anything else....other than you a new car.....
