private message system

In the pale blue box to the left of people's posts there's a little icon with a person and a speech bubble – if you click on that, you can send a PM to the person whose post it is. So if I clicked on the icon next to your post, I'd get a screen where I could type a message to you, with your name already in the "To" box.

Alternatively, in the purple menu on the left of your screen, you should see a heading called "Messages" underneath your username when you're logged in. If you click on that, it'll show you any private messages you've received, and there's a tab that says "Write new message" – click that, and there's a blank box ready for you to write in. Go to the "To" box and start typing the username of the person you want to send a message to, and the site will show you a list of the usernames beginning with those letters, so you can be sure it's going to the right person.

If you're wanting to send someone a PM the quickest way is to find one of their previous posts

In the blue box on the left hand side of their post is their name, underneath that there is the dated they joined n if you squint a bit, under that there is very faintly, two icons, one is to say whether or not the person is currently online n the other, the right hand one is the PM button

Click on the PM button, this creates a new message already addressed to them.

Type in your msg n then click the button at the bottom i cant remember if it says 'save' or 'send' -something like that anyway!

When you get an incoming message look in the 'messages' box - that's found at the far left of the page right under the polls box. there should be your username at the top of a stack of buttons, messages is the second one down. I understand that when you get a message it will show up as there being a message
