I read Spirit and Destiny regulalry and love every page. Unfortunately I do not feel as though I have a niche in anything particular if that makes sense. I believe in the paranormal, fairies, angels, complimentary medicine, in fact I'm open to just about everything. I believe we have all been given a God-given gift to practice here on Earth but the problem is I really don't know what mine is. I don't feel particularly drawn to anything either, except crystals, herbs, fairies, but I don't know an awful lot about any of them. At 56 I feel I might be running out of time. Can anyone suggest a way of my finding out?

ahh.. Nikki...... I see what you meant in your email now.... I can appreciate how frustrating it is, sadly a lot of people who do readings tend to be very sensitive, creative people who get easily pulled away from their psychic calling ( whilst in training so to speak).. but I do agree that it wouldn't take a minute to post up on here that they couldn't read etc. Just so that you aren't sat clicking away at your email.. anyway.. as my penenace for being a few days getting back to you I have now contacted Toni to offer one there too :-) Klare x

LOL Klare!! i'm sure Toni will be really excited about her reading, like i said i wasn't trying to have a go at people, its amazing that people will do free readings in the first place i was just trying to convey how much people look forward to receiving them once they have been offered.  then to not receive anything at all is disappointing.

Just wondering how accurate readings really are? I have had several tarot readings and to date none have been accurate. The last one I had was very generic and could have matched anyone and although I asked questions the answers again were generic. My biggest question is my love life and will I have the husband, children etc? All have said they see it but for those that gave time frames these have past. Feel I need a new one because struggling to see love in my future but also reluctant to waste more money on this.

I believe that when I do readings they give a snapshot of all the circumstances, opportunities and pitfalls that are around you in that moment.  The difficulty in being totally accurate is that things may not pan out quite as I've seen, particularly in terms of timescale, as people have free will to act or not act, or to change their minds!!  So action or inaction will change things - often I've seen everything being in place for someone to move forward, but they've just not done it for a whole range of reasons.  If this happens, I tend to thin kfate will bring you that opportunity again - my mother always says that what's for you won't go by you.  Sometimes other people will put a spanner in the works on your behalf lol!!

I think people should recognise the past and current stuff I'm talking about and will therefore hopefully feel confident about the future info I give them!  If not, we know something has gone wrong somewhere!  I have had 4 times in my career so far when a reading has just made no sense at all - in that case I don't charge them and ask them to come back another day to try again.  BUT please bear in mind that sometimes your future may not sound like you expected - for instance I've been to two weddings I've predicted, which the ladies in question did NOT believe, as both were single, and one had been single for years and was very wary of blokes!

The reality is, some people are better at this than others, so recommendation helps, and also the connection between you and the reader is important.  I think it helps to see how you feel when you speak to the reader to arrange the appointment - do you feel like there's a rapport there?  I find I connect with some people better than others - and I'm sure some people will think that my readings were mediochre or crap lol!!  I've been to see some readers myself who were brilliant, and others, who although they came with great recommendations, just didn't impress me that much.  I'm afaid it's a very personal thing.

I hope all you ladies who are waiting for readings get them in the end!!

Hi Kirsty and thank you for that advice. I actually went for an unexpected reading today. A friend of mine was going with another friend but they couldn't go so I went along. I currently have a pressing issue about a male friend. We were very close and was a friend with benefits!!!! For the last week he has not spoken to me which is the longest we have not spoken. I do not know why as I don't think we were on bad terms but I am very upset about it. I asked about this about this man and was told 'I don't know why, his letting his head rule his heart, not sure why his not speaking to you or avoiding you'. Now I could have told her that much and in fact told her that I didn't know why.

We are right for each other in so many ways but also wrong in others and I wouldn't want to actually take things any further but I was happy with how things were. Its upsetting me to have him not contact me when I have tried to speak to him he won't. To be told they don't know why is crap!!! That and my chances of a relationship, marrage, children etc (no necessarily with who ever) are my main two issue and she was able to answer neither. The question will I get married she answered 'I see flowers, now that could be your or not I don't know'. So bascially to get 'I don't know to my main 2 issues cost me £30.

I don't expect clear cut answers and do believe things change but I do expect a bit better than that, am I being too harsh? If anyone feels like doing a reading for me as they feel they are getting any feeling or vibe from me whilst reading this I would be very gratefull.

I'm not surprised you're disappointed with that!!  Sometimes I find that there are certain questions the cards just won't answer for me - maybe cos we just weren't meant to know? - but I wouldn't be happy with an entire reading of no answers!

Morning All

I am finding myself in a very low place at the moment, things just are not going right . I'm trying to think positive and put a smile on my face but I'm struggling. Three weeks ago I was mainly happy, since then the things that were making me happy have gone wrong and I now feel very low. Don't know how to handle the situation and would like to know if it will get better or has it gone for good.

Hi I have had so many changes/events in my life recently - I dont know what my direction is anymore.. Seven years ago, I had a reading by a lady a fellow student at the college I was attending was an apprentice to this lady. This lady was excellent to the point where she actually scared the pants off me. She gave me a name of a good friend at the time and was accurate. She also mentioned that my deceased mother was present which I knew. I feel my mother's presence frequently. It was the best reading I have ever had. I have never seen the lady since that reading. I have had many other readings which I have found not to be of a high calibre, and then for several years I stopped having readings, because I didn't find any truth in them. I started last year to have at least 2 per year, but have been disappointed. I would appreciated it very much, if someone could possible give me a reading. Ignore the comments above by Brian! It is a very big decission to have a child at any age! Especially if you and your partner don't feel you had the best childhoods. What I will say is one woman I know had her first child at 40 and doesn't regret it at all. Its harder work than she thought. But thats the same whatever your age! I you feel you want a child give it a go, if it doesn't happen, then maybe it isn't meant to be. Whatever you & your partner decide, good luck! Linda x

I am very shocked to read the comment from Brian. What a horrible man and has he never heard of what goes around come around. Ginger has asked a question, now if people don't want to reply they don't have to but she is free to write whatever she likes and so is anyone else. Brian if you do not like what is written please just do not read it and there is no need to cruel replies like yours. Having a baby is a big decision and better she looks at it from every angle before going ahead than have a mistake.

Ginger I can not read into the future but I would say go for it. There is no greater gift than bringing life into this world, into a loving and caring family.

Thanks for the nice comments, girls. Well, would you believe it, but I never saw the infamous Brian's comments! Some nice person must have reported them, got them taken off and saved me from something pretty horrid, by the looks of things.

That's the only thing about web forums, isn't it - there are lots of people who read all the posts but only join in when they've got something vicious to say. Serves me right for trusting everyone to be good!

It seemed Brian had a real chip on his shoulder about whatever and took it out on the forum. Maybe we should send him some positive thoughts and envelop him in a beam of loving light. He may just not accept it due to his 'chip' but its worth a try, isnt it? Just because he felt the need to spout off doesnt mean we need to dislike him for it. (yes, I know he didnt say anything directly to me so it'll be easier for me but I was still angry with his comments).
