Hi Ellen,

Just had a good read of your website.  You are doing a wonderful job.

I wonder if I could pick your brains, I am a qualified reflexologist (VTCT & AOR) and started my own business in Aug 08.  I am currently treating a lovely lady who suffers from fibromyalgia and I wondered if this is something you've come across and whether you have any advice?

Hi Janet, As you are most probably aware this disorder can sometimes be related to chronic fatigue symdrome (ME).And I know all to well how hard this is as I am also a sufferer. Obviously I do not know of the history of your client but here are a few tips that might help. Work all the points for the adrenals as this helps with any pain or inflammation, work the liver and kidneys as this will help with any build up of toxins, the gall bladder, lungs, stomach and brain as this will regulate the metabloic process. Please give your client an extra special foot massage after each session as stress plays an important part to the bodies imbalance. Check your clients diet, many foods can cause the body to break down, as we get older we can build an intolerence to certain foods, and sometimes it can so easily be because of an allergy that is causing these problems to arise. I found that a blend of geranium,lavender,and bergamot essential oils,used daily helped me. If pain is felt in one region or another Tiger Balm brings almost instant releif. Mentally how does your client cope with every day activities, has she placed herself in the 'why me symdrome' if self esteem is a big issue please take a look at my web-site for techniques on how to build this up again. Sometimes you have to look at the reasons behind why this problem has arisen, is there past issues that could relate to these symptoms, if there is then not only give your client reflexology but a kind ear to listen to all her past issues, sometimes that is all that is needed to heal someones life. Thanks so much for your advice.  I have been paying attention to the brain/endocrine function already so I'm glad I'm on the right track.  I have also been a "kind ear" and she has opened up a lot to me in only 2 treatments so I'm optimistic that this will also help her.

I managed to read through all your site info, and couldnt click out until id finished it was so interesting.. i loved reading about the crystals, herbs and flowers, im going to give the herb pillow a try.... then reading how you've had a difficult time with other people thinking your not 'normal'.. people annoy me sometime with their one vision views... everyone is different and thats good, how boring it would be if we were all the same, so good for you sticking to what you believe. And your job, well that must be difficult to have to hear some of the terrible things people have been through, but so wonderful to be able to help them like you do... a very rewarding job i imagine, well done to you hun.....i cant wait look in again on your site to see whats new... carry the good work
